We've been growing for over a decade
Back in the 90s, Roger Ramsey decided to create a true Australian product, Australian made and Australian owned. It had to be delicious, it had to be healthy, and it had to use only environmentally sustainable, ethically sourced non-GM ingredients.
Years of taste testing around the kitchen table – and we do mean years – finally paid off in 2001, when AussieMite first appeared on shelf in a selection of independent stores.
Roger didn't stop there, but continued to refine the recipe to produce the rich velvety texture and mellow flavour that AussieMite has today.
Thanks to the support of customers like you, we can tackle the future in the same adventurous, innovative spirit that we started out with. As a small family business with a big dream, we’ve had to go the extra mile. And we like to think this makes AussieMite taste even better.
We hope you enjoy AussieMite as much as we do!
You see it’s not just about our passion for fine food and quality Australian produce. It’s about building on these passions and sharing them with the rest of Australia. We want AussieMite to make a difference around the world. We want to put back into the community, by supporting local arts and local programs devoted to health and wellbeing.

AN EXCELLENT SOURCE OF B12 & FOLIC ACID
AussieMite understands that diet, exercise and wellbeing are all linked. It's why we've produced a spread that's gluten-free, vegan and rich in B vitamins, including the ever-elusive B12.
From healthy brain functioning to DNA synthesis, B12 couldn't be more important for your health. If you're vegan or strict vegetarian, there are only two ways to get this essential vitamin:
eat foods that are enriched with B12 like AussieMite, or take a vitamin supplement. We all know which one tastes better!
While we're at it, you've probably heard of B12's cousin, B9. Also known as Folate or Folic acid, B9 is necessary for fertility and reduces the risk of a range of birth defects in the early stages of pregnancy.
Available in independent retailers, Coles, Woolworths and select health & organic stores.
